The Four Forests of The Land in the Era of the New Lords are remnants of the One Forest. They are Giant Woods, Grimmerdhore, Morinmoss, and Garroting Deep. While each of the four forests had Forestals in the Era of the Old Lords, only Garroting Deep had a Forestal in the Era of the New Lords - Caerroil Wildwood.
Giant Woods is the only Forest to have survived the Era of the Sunbane.
In the period between the Era of the Sunbane and the Era of the Masters, the work of Sunder and Hollian to repair the damage to The Land caused by the Sunbane resulted in the growth of a new forest, Salva Gildenbourne, which surrounds the Hills of Andelain.
